"Thick" offers medium level protection. It is loosely woven for a soft and comfortable feel, but thick for more durability than our "Soft" piece. If you are a heavier grinder, this piece can come unwoven, and we recommend purchasing the "Reinforcement" add-on item ($10). With the reinforcement we add extra stitching that prevents it from unravelling.

Each piece can last indefinitely, depending on your grinding level. At least one month in our experience, and up to a year or more -although we switch ours out every so often like a toothbrush.
