Materials
Hemp is naturally moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, and hypo-allergenic. Our hemp is certified organic, soft and luxurious, yet strong and durable.
Weave
We select long bast hemp fibers for their flexibility and strength. They are flexible enough to imprint teeth and adapt to the shape of each mouth, yet strong enough to endure intense pressure and grinding for many months! Our Original Weave is denser and tighter to help those who grind intensely and also alleviate clenching. Our Soft Weave is plush and supple for those who prefer comfort and cushion.
Design
Two strips, one for each side, connected by a free-floating flexible connector string. The string in the center allows the mouth guard to passively adapt to any width and angle of jaw. The string will sometimes sit behind or in front of your front teeth based on the size of your mouth -either is fine! The two strips are designed in a way that they can be trimmed and customized to any length to fit any mouth. The fibers will gently form to your teeth with wear, and the strips are thick enough to keep your front teeth separated as well.
