Original Mouth Guard

The "Original" is usually the best place to start. Thin for comfort and alignment, dense for durability, firm to alleviate clenching. It has all the universal benefits. The fibers are still soft enough to imprint your teeth and create a custom form.

"Soft" is more pillowy and flexible –which is fine for lighter grinding, but not as good for Clenchers. The Double Layer pieces are very thick and not recommended unless you prefer a bulkier piece that will prop the jaw open slightly, or you are a very intense grinder and need a heavier-duty piece.

For heavier grinders who want more durability, but still desire the thinness of the Single Layer pieces, add our "Reinforcement Add-On" ($10) for additional stitching to reinforce the edges. The pieces, even without reinforcement will typically last a significant amount of time.

Ingredients:  Organic undyed hemp, organic undyed cotton thread

*Hemp is naturally anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and hypo-allergenic.

Cleansing:  Rinse and pour boiling water over the mouth guard, let sit for one minute. Once per week soak in vinegar for 5-10 minutes.

Size:  Adjustable with scissors

Each piece can last indefinitely, depending on your grinding level. At least one month in our experience, and up to a year or more -although we switch ours out every so often like a toothbrush.
